About Strategies XXI

   The "Carol I" National Defense University has launched since 2005, the scientific initiative called STRATEGIES XXI and has the honour to organize it again this year, in a hybrid format, from 28th to 29th June 2023.
   The conference has as main objectives the dissemination within the academic community of the results of scientific research conducted by participants, as well as establishing / consolidating partnerships with educational institutions and research, military and civilian, in the country and abroad.
   The central theme of this year's edition is to debate on issues related to the security environment, international relations and military art, presentation and promotion of the results of scientific research in the field.

The main panels will focus on the following topics:

  • Strategic Changes in Security and International Relations
  • Military Science and Art. Technologies - Military Applications, Simulation and Resources
  • The Complex and Dynamic Nature of the Security Environment
  • Romania and the new dynamics of International Security and Geopolitics
  • Cognitive warfare
   Under the auspices of STRATEGIES XXI conference 2023 we would like to gather and express opinions on the latest research results in the fields of global security and national defense in the context of the contemporary military phenomenon.
